I was born in Romania. Both parents worked as art / travel photographers (two of Romania’s best known and internationally awarded).
We moved to Israel in 1985.
After graduating the Photography Department of Jerusalem’s Art Academy I started working both for a local weekly as well as for European publishers, for (so far some 25) various photography books and travel guides on Israel – Palestine and Romania.
For the last 13 years or so I have been working as a free lancer for some of Europe’s major magazines and newspapers as well as for the local edition of the National Geographic magazine.
Working on assignments for books, feature stories or portraits is what I do (best), not only in the two places I know so well: Israel – Palestine as well as Romania, but also beyond. I received assignments for Cyprus, Jordan and India.
Two of my main projects (“At the Western Wall” and “Trying to be Twenty in Jerusalem”) were exhibited among others in New York, London, Paris, Rome, Toronto, New Delhi, Holland, etc.
